Lucille Tolbert
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Tolbert were held at 2 PM, Wednesday, April 8,
2009, at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church with Bro. Joel Ford officiating under
the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Interment followed at Heard Cemetery, Manifest.
Lucille Tolbert, age 84, passed from this life Monday, April 6, 2009, at LaSalle
General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bass Scarborough; her mother, Ollie
Scarborough; her brothers, Bruce, David
and Huey Scarborough; her sister, Alton Griffin; her son, Glenford Tolbert; and
two grandsons, Leonard Tolbert and Eugene Clark.
Mrs. Tolbert is survived by her husband, Roy Tolbert; and her sons, Melvin
Tolbert, Lavel Tolbert,
and J.C. and Rosie Tolbert, all of Jonesville; and her daughters, Jean Bradford
of Jena,
Gloria and Gary Tucker of Aimwell, Debra and Tony Bartucci of West Monroe; and Brenda and Jim Crager of Logansport.
She is also survived by her brothers, Randolph Scarborough and A.C. Scarborough;
sisters, Evelyn and Jim Ballew; Analar and James Fowler; and Mamie Fowler; 16
grandchildren; and multiple great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sherman Ford, Dennis Tolbert, Brent Taylor, Tony Mason, Phillip
Tolbert and Marion Tolbert.
Honorary pallbearers were Dayton Wiley and Bud Ivey.

Ludie Renfrow Bordelon
Funeral services for Mrs. Ludie Renfrow Bordelon, age 76, of Broussard, LA were held at Young's Funeral Home, Jonesville, on Friday, April 10, 2009, at 10
AM with Dr. Ralph Webber officiating.
Interment followed at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, under the direction of Young's
Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Bordelon was born June 18, 1932, in Jonesville, the daughter of Irvin
Henderson Renfrow and Lillie Rutledge Renfrow, and passed from this life
Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Lafayette General Lafayette.
She was a resident of Broussard, a House wife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Oliver Bordelon; her parents; her
sister, Ida Belle Renfrow; and her brother, B. G. Renfrow.
Mrs. Bordelon is survived by her sons, Joe Bordelon and his wife Darci of
Broussard and Emil Bordelon and his wife Julie of Phoenix, Az;
and her daughter, Jeanine Wynkoop and her husband Charles of Beaumont, Texas.
Mrs. Bordelon is also survived by her brothers, Sam Renfrow and his wife Glenda of Jonesville,
Bill Renfrow also of Jonesville, and F. L. "Tinker" Renfrow and his wife Lucile
of Monterey; and her sister, Betty Lynde of Lafayette, La.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Bordelon, Olivia Bordelon,
Neal Wynkoop, and Amanda Soptich and her husband Kyle.
The Pallbearers were Neal Wynkoop, Jamie Renfrow, L. W. Rutledge, Marion
Rutledge, Charles Ray Bordelon and Dwayne Greene.

Marion Frances Burley
Funeral services for Mrs. Marion Frances Burley, age 94, of Monterey, were held at Monterey Church of Christ on Friday, April 10, 2009, at 2 PM with Rev. Russell Crum and Rev. Devon Huss officiating.
Interment followed at Scott Cemetery, Monterey, under the direction of Young's
Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Burley was born August 23, 1914, in Monterey, the daughter of Theodore
Henry Forman, Jr., and Bertha Tooley Forman, and passed from this life
Wednesday, April 08, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center Natchez.
She was a resident of Monterey, a home maker, and a member of the Monterey Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward Burley; two of her
sons, Wesley and Terry Burley; 3 great-grand daughters, Jennifer Porco, Kayla
Hamilton and Farran Beard; a brother, T.H. Forman, III, and two sisters,
Margaret Magoun and Jewel White.
She is survived by her sons, Verlyn and his wife Mary Grace Burley, Theo and his
wife Mary Jo Burley, Kenny Burley, and Donnie Burley, all of Monterey; and
daughters, Bonita and her husband Bobby Hamilton, and Evelyn and her husband A.
J. Smith, all of Monterey.
Also surviving Mrs. Burley are her brother, Honeycutt Forman, her
daughters-in-law,
Shellie Burley and JoAnn Burley, all of Monterey.
She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great- grandchildren.
The Pallbearers were Will Burley, Dooley Burley, Robert Hamilton, Randy Smith,
Kevin Burley, David Burley, Kris Burley and Hugh McConnell.

Thomas Randy Tarver
Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Randy Tarver, age 55, of Jonesville, were held at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 2 PM with Bro. Joel Ford officiating.
Interment followed at Belah Methodist Church Cemetery, Belah, La., under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mr. Tarver was born December 29, 1953, in Jena, the son of Thomas Irvin Tarver
and Ethel Montpelier Tarver, and passed from this life Thursday, April 9, 2009.
He was a resident of Jonesville, and a member of the Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church. He served his country In the
United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Irvin Tarver and Ethel
Montpelier Tarver.
Mr. Tarver is survived by his wife, Theresa Owens Tarver of Jonesville, his
children, Thomas J. Tarver of Sandy Lake, Amber McClure of Quatar U.A.E., and
Kensley and her husband Chris Laborde of Vick, La., and his step-children,
Miranda Coleman of Jonesville, and Laniece and her husband Opie Grant of Sandy
Lake.
He is also survived by his brother Barry and his wife Dee Tarver of Houma, La.,
and sisters, Theresa Bacon of West Monroe, Sheila Ford of Jonesville, and
Kathleen Thornhill of Pineville.
The Pallbearers were T. J. Tarver, Ray Tarver, Jr., Trey Tarver, Opie Grant,
Chris Laborde and George McClure.

Beth Dupuis, age 30, passed from this life Sunday, April 12, 2009, at her
residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Dupuis; her father, Clyde
Wright; and her grandfather, J. W. Jones.
She is survived by her children, Daisy Wright and Devin Wright; her mother, Jo
Anne Wright; her sisters, Charity Wright, Amy Wright and Brandi Wright; and her
brothers, Clyde Anthony Wright and Curtis Wright.
Beth is also survived by her grandmother, Vera Jones; her step-son, Matt Dupuis; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
